The term Gringo was popularized in the beach towns of Mexico. Of Spanish origin, it refers to anyone who is a foreigner, and most commonly is used in reference to Americans. Folklore says it was generated when the US invaded Mexico, wearing green uniforms, and the people shouted, “Green Go Home.” The term now is most commonly used to describe a foreigner in a foreign land. Make no mistake, while our name may be Gringos, our food is a trip to authentic Mexico in every bite. We relish creating mouth-watering traditional Mexican fare, and serving it up with the best tequila and margaritas.
